Welcome to Lead With Love Project Inc.

Lead With Love Project INC. was started in 2018, I woke up one morning and told my husband I wanted to feed families in need for Thanksgiving. I wanted to teach my children compassion, empathy... being an overall good person in society. I pulled money out of our checking account and got busy planning. Family and friends heard what we were doing, and sent donations to help. We held news interviews with our local stations to get the word out, also held online and phone registrations for the families. Our Thanksgiving turkey giveaway led to 60 families receiving a Thanksgiving meal. 

With a little more time and planning we hosted our 2nd Thanksgiving turkey drive in 2019. We again pulled money from our checking account and had the help of the community, that year we gave over 100 families a Thanksgiving meal. Last minute donations allowed for us to purchase gift cards from Publix and a few other grocery stores in our area. 

Well 2020 was a complete devastation for everyone, as much as I knew families needed it more than ever that year, we just couldn't ask our already struggling family and friends to help. Which caused us to cancel the turkey drive/giveaway for 2020. This was hard, so many families reached out to our email account and left voice mails to see if we could help. We felt like a let down to our community. I never would have thought that this event would give so many people hope and happiness. I decided to register as a nonprofit with the State of South Carolina, this decision came as a hope to never let families down, a way of seeking help from others outside of my community/corporations.
